Drug test doesn't define Redskins' Trent Williams

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) -- Trent Williams doesn't want to be known as one of the many Washington Redskins knuckleheads that have come and gone in the last decade.

At this rate, he won't have to worry about that.

He's been doing a good job of leaving behind his big mistake, the four-game suspension for failing multiple drug tests last year.

He rededicated himself in the offseason and was elected a team captain. He's played with a painful thigh bruise since Thanksgiving Day. He's the anchor of the offensive line for a team that leads the NFL in yards rushing. He's also the left tackle that protects Robert Griffin III's blindside.

Coach Mike Shanahan said Williams is having a Pro Bowl season. Williams said the honor would be a special reward for his hard work.
