A Garfield Heights woman pleaded guilty to robbery on Feb. 27 in connection with an Oct. 3 robbery at Panera Bread on Darrow Road.

Alexis M. Olenik Barrett, 19, pleaded guilty to robbery, a third-degree felony, a lesser offense than the original charge of first-degree aggravated robbery, and the firearm specification was dismissed.

She is scheduled to be sentenced April 6.

The other two suspects in the case, Corey D. Johnson, 26 and D'Jaye Quinae Redrick, 18, both from Cleveland, are scheduled to appear in court for a status call on March 9. They were each indicted on one count each of aggravated robbery with a firearm; Johnson also was indicted with having a weapon while under disability as a "repeat violent offender," according to the court records.

According to the Twinsburg police report, officers responded to the Panera Oct. 3 at 9:21 p.m. after they were called about a robbery at gunpoint. The suspects had fled the area before police arrived, taking an unspecified amount of cash in money tills.

Summit County Common Pleas Judge Tammy O'Brien is the justice in all three cases.
