AKRON -- A third suspect has been sentenced in connection with the Oct. 3, 2016, armed robbery of Panera Bread on Darrow Road.

D'Jaye Quinae Redrick, of Cleveland, 18, was sentenced to 18 months in the Ohio Reformatory for Women. Redrick pleaded guilty to robbery, a third-degree felony, Feb. 27 in Summit County Court of Common Pleas. A firearm specification was dismissed.

According to court records from the Summit County Clerk of Courts, Redrick "may be supervised on post-release control by the Adult Parole Authority for a discretionary period of up to three years after being released from prison, as determined by the Adult Parole Authority."

The case was heard by Judge Tammy O'Brien.

Two other defendants, 19-year-old Garfield Heights resident Alexis M. Olenik Barrett and 26-year-old Cleveland man Corey D. Johnson, pleaded guilty and were sentenced earlier this year. All three were ordered to pay a total of $2,953.83 to Panera.

Johnson pleaded guilty March 14 to one count of aggravated robbery with a firearm specification; a repeat violent offender specification and having weapons while under disability charge were dropped. Johnson was sentenced that day to seven years in jail, including a three-year mandatory sentence for possession of a firearm; and four years for the aggravated robbery. The three-year sentence is to be served consecutively with the four-year sentence; Johnson will be credited for the 137 days already served. Johnson was given five years probation after he is finished with his jail sentence.

Barrett pleaded guilty to robbery Feb. 27. A firearm specification was dismissed. She was sentenced to two years community control, 60 days home incarceration and received an 18 month suspended jail sentence.
