Twinsburg -- The Twinsburg Community Theatre will present a special youth summer production of "Winnie the Pooh: The Musical" July 30 and 31.

About 50 young actors are developing their theater skills while learning lines and stage direction (blocking) this month. The musical is directed by Shonna Talley Nitzel with musical direction by Chelsea Selvaggio.

The youth performers will show off their hard work during two performances, July 30 at 7 p.m. and July 31 at 3 p.m., at R.B. Chamberlin Middle School, 10270 Ravenna Road.

Pooh, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, Owl, Eeyore, Kango, Roo and friends will work to rescue Christopher Robin from the Backson.

The production is about 35 minutes long, and young audience members are encouraged. There will be a live donkey (playing Eeyore) outside for the children to meet as they enter R.B.C.
