Take a computer class

- Windows 10: Part 1 will be Sept. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

- Introduction to the Internet for Seniors will be Sept. 8 at 2 p.m.

Sensory story time is Aug. 27

Sensory story time, an interactive program that engages children through movement, music, stories and sensory play, will be Aug. 27 from 11 a.m. to noon. The program can be enjoyed by all children, but is ideal for those who have a hard time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum or have sensory integration challenges. There will be sensory and social opportunities during the second half hour of the program. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Fall story times set

Registration begins Aug. 29 for fall story times. Classes begin the week of Sept. 12. The library offers sessions for a variety of age groups. For more information, stop by Children's Place, call 330-425-4268 ext. 3, or visit the events calendar on the web at www.twinsburglibrary.org.

Activities for students in grades 7 through 12 include Wii U Day on Tuesdays from 2 to 5 p.m.; "Magic: The Gathering" on Wednesdays from 2 to 5 p.m.; and the Anime Club on Thursdays from 2 to 4:30 p.m.

Take the 1,000 Book Challenge

Gather at the library Sept. 6 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. for the 1,000 Book Challenge Thrill Show, an event for families with children who are enrolled in or would like to join the 1,000 Book Challenge. The challenge is for children who have not yet entered kindergarten. The fun will be provided by Zap Entertainment.

LEGO program

is Sept. 7, 14

Build a vehicle with LEGOs and program it with the WeDo 2.0 app Sept. 7 and 14 from 7 to 8 p.m. This two-day session is for children ages 10 and older who°have not°already attended°a WeDo program.

On display ...

The art gallery and large display cases are featuring artwork by Maureen Farley. Hand-decorated eggs created by Sandy Steiger can be seen in the small display cases.
