Make Halloween decorations
Use the library's new littleBits circuits and other supplies to build fun Halloween decorations to be displayed in the library, Oct. 19 from 7 to 8 p.m. This is for students ages 10 years and older.
Come to the library for a showing of the classic Halloween movie "Hocus Pocus" Oct. 21 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Make a spooky snack at 6:30 p.m. and the movie will start at 7 p.m. All ages are welcome. The movie is rated PG.
Not So Spooky yoga
Little goblins can hoot and howl at Halloween story time yoga, Oct. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m. Bring a mat or large towel. This is for ages 4 to 7 years.
Zumba set for Oct. 20, 27
Enjoy a high-spirited dance workout with a certified Zumba instructor Oct. 20 and Oct. 27 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. each night. Register for each session separately. There is a $5 fee per class payable directly to the instructor. Please bring cash.
War and Remembrance series
Gene Kiefer, a retired U.S. Navy veteran, will talk about the bombing of Japan April 18, 1942, a risky airstrike known as the Doolittle Raid. The talk will be Oct. 22 from 11 a.m. to noon. Medium-range B-25 Mitchell bombers were launched from the USS Hornet, and pilots and crew had only enough fuel to attack Japan then hope make it to friendly Chinese airfields -- or crash land in the sea.
Carteles por Dia
Create a sign for Twinsburg Public Library's Day of the Dead celebration. The class will be Oct. 24 from 6:30 to 8 p.m.; the Day of the Dead celebration is Nov. 1 at the library. Using Publisher 2016, people can print and display their "carteles por Dia de Muertos" in the library or take them home. One free color print will be provided to all attendees to be used on the day of the class. Basic knowledge of Publisher is preferred but not required.

Terry Pluto, renowned sports columnist for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, weighs in on issues facing society through the prism of sports at this Oct. 26 program, 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the library.°Come listen to Terry as he explains why sports are so much more than just a game.
