Meet the animal photographer

Greg Murray, animal photographer, will offer a book signing and meet and greet April 8 at the Twinsburg Public Library from 10 a.m. to noon. Murray is award-winning photographer, rescue animal advocate and creator of the book "Peanut Butter Dogs" (available for purchase and signing).

Help support the Humane Society of Summit County. Bring a donation for the Humane Society and your name will be entered into a drawing to win a photo shoot for your pet at Murray's studio. A donation can be a much needed item off the Humane Society's wish list or a minimum contribution of $1 per ticket entry. No registration is needed for this all-ages event. Humane Society volunteers and the new Mobile Adoption Center with animals in need of homes will be on-site, too. Stop by to say "Hello." Visit Murray online a twww.gmurrayphoto.com. Youth Services: Paws to Read

Paws to Read will be April 8 from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the library. Drop in to read to one of the Twinsburg Public Library's special workers -- therapy dogs. No advanced registration is required. This is for independent readers ages 4 years and older.

Adult Services: Medicare 101

Medicare plan specialist Sharon Honroth returns to the library April 5 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. with an update on Parts A, B and D of Medicare. She will explain what is covered and and the options for filling the gap. Get questions answered at this free event.

10 steps to aflower garden

Presenter Dennis James Deegan will explain how to eliminate those gardening frustrations and help people to grow better results by teaching them how to avoid mistakes made by the average gardener. Attendees to "10 Step to Growing a Glorious Flower Garden" can plant some flower seeds in a 4-inch flower pot to take home. Cost for the class is $2.50, due by April 1. The fee may be paid at the Computer Lab Desk.

Coffee is for a great cause

The 18th annual Coffee for A Cause will be at Twinsburg Public Library April 8 from 6:45 p.m. to 10 p.m. Always one of the most important and anticipated annual events at the library, Coffee for a Cause allows talented teens to perform music, poetry and comedy skits in a coffeehouse-style setting. The evening benefits Aluminum Cans for Burned Children.Visit twinsburglibrary.org/c4ac to register. All performers are asked to bring a baked good for the sale. Registration is open until April 6 at midnight.

Real Estate 101 is April 8

Learn about the process of selling a home and the decisions to be made at Real Estate 101: Staging Selling A Home," April 8 from 11 a.m. to noon. Pick up tips on staging techniques to sell a home more quickly and make a better profit. This is presented by KW Chervenic Realtor Casey Rumora.

Monday night at the Oscars

Watch a 2016 Oscar-nominated movie with library friends at Monday Night at the Oscars, April 10 from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Admission, popcorn and lemonade are on the Twinsburg Public Library. Refreshments are served 10 minutes prior to show time. The movie starts at 6 p.m.
