Youth Services: Have some DIY Toddler Fun

DIY Toddler Fun will be April 27 from 6:30 to 7 p.m. at the Twinsburg Public Library. Learn to make modeling dough, finger paint and more. Be sure to wear clothes that can get messy. This is for children ages birth to 3 years with a caregiver.

Earn community service hours and have fun at the same time, April 28 from 3 to 4 p.m. Drop in for this session to make blankets for Project Linus, a non-profit organization that provides homemade blankets to children in need. No registration is required. Be sure to bring a school's community service hour form. This is for teens in grades 9 through 12.

Spend some

sensory-friendly story time

An interactive program that engages children through movement, music, stories and sensory play will be April 29 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. It can be enjoyed by all children, but is ideal for those who have a hard time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum or have sensory integration challenges. There will be sensory and social opportunities during the second half hour of the program. Children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver.

Study for AP exams

Calling all AP students to the library April 30 from 5 to 9 p.m.: Looking for a place to study with others before those AP exams? Come to the library after hours. There will be coffee and pastries. Registration is requested.

Adult Services: Resume help on Thursdays

Thursday afternoon resume help is here. Adults can stop in computer lab or call 330-425-4268 ext. 4 to make a Thursday afternoon appointment with the library's resume expert.

What's trending? Bullet journals

Corral the chaos of everyday life and explore how a bullet journal can help organize and motivate, May 1 from 6:30to 8 p.m. Attendees will have an opportunity to create a bullet journal during the program by bringing a notebook or purchasing one at the program for $1. Please note: This is a repeat of the bullet journal program conducted last month.

Real Estate for those older than 50

This program May 3 from 10 to 11 a.m. will address how Medicare affects choices, when family should be involved in decision making, options for when an owner becomes incompetent to make decisions, and information about reverse mortgages.

Real Estate basics: Buying a home

This May 3, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. class will discuss the process of buying a home and how it differs for first-time buyers, seasoned buyers and investors. Come with questions.
