1 Fun for the family
The third annual Family Land Fair is May 21 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Twinsburg Public Library. The event, hosted by the Foundation of the Twinsburg Public Library, will include family activities such as entertainment, demonstrations, face painting, balloon twisting, photo opportunities with Jedi Knights and more. Vendors from area businesses and food trucks also will be on hand, and guests can register for the Summer Reading Program.
2 Enjoy Nature at jnjnkjnkNight
Area residents are invited to walk the bike path in Center Valley Park May 19 from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. to see and hear creatures which are active after the sun goes down. Sturdy walking shoes, flashlights and cameras are recommended, as are strollers for those with younger children. Participants will meet in the rear parking lot at Dodge Intermediate School, rain or moonshine.
3 Free yoga classes
Interested in learning about yoga? Gopi from the Twinsburg Fitness Center will offer free yoga classes at Liberty Park's amphitheater, starting May 23. Classes start at 6 p.m. Participants should bring their own mat; water bottles and bug spray also are recommended. For details, visit www.twinsburgrecreation.com online.
