Summer Reading Club set

The Summer Reading Club is for all ages and all are invited to participate. It runs now through Aug. 2 for adults; and through Aug. 4 for youth. Register now for this club.

Youth Services: Friday morning movie and craft

Stop by for a Friday morning movie and craft at the Twinsburg Public Library, May 26 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Join for a craft and a family-friendly, PG-rated movie. No registration is required. Feel free to bring snacks and blankets to sit on. This is for all ages with a caregiver. The craft is at 10:30 a.m. and the movie is at 11 a.m.

Mad Science: Fire and Ice

Join for "Mad Science: Fire and Ice," June 3 from 11 to 11:45 a.m. Mad Science of Northeast Ohio will be here for a scientifically fun morning. Explore the concepts of matter and pressure, and be wowed by dry ice experiments that include shivering quarters, giant burps, bubbling potions, and more. This is for families of all ages.

Adult Services: Intro to Spanish II

An "Introduction to Spanish II" class will be June 1 through July 13 at the library, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursdays. A $10 fee is required prior to the start of the class. Note that this class will not take place June 8.

Music in the Garden continues

Join in the first of this summer series of concerts, June 4 from 2 to 3 p.m. Music in the Garden will begin its seventh summer music series of these free one-hour concerts. Karen and Christopher Ellicott will offer a family-friendly program with music that celebrates summertimes past and present. The concert will be indoors in the meeting rooms in case of inclement weather.

The library's "War & Remembrance" series will continue June 10 from 11 a.m. to noon. Frank Thomas is a veteran of the Korean War who served on the front lines. Hear about his experiences and the extra duty given to him -- assisting Marilyn Monroe when she visited the troops!

Library closed for holiday

The Twinsburg Public Library will be closed May 28 and 29 for Memorial Day weekend.
