Village hosts shred day

Reminderville will host a community shred day June 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Reminderville Municipal Center parking lot, 3382 Glenwood Boulevard.

Residents can drive up and drop off bags or boxes of paper documents to be shredded for free. InfoShred.Net of Cleveland will shred paper products only. They will return the entire box or bag if any unshreddable item is found. If that occurs, a person must pull away, sort through the box/bag and return to the end of the line.

Permitted materials inlcude documents, drawings, photos, blueprints, coupons, tickets, checks, magazines, spiral notebooks, paper and binding clips, staples, hanging folders and paper bags. Non-permitted materials include plastics, cardboard, boxes, plastic bags, 3-ring binders, vinyl, metal, and media such as CDs, DVDs, VCRs or hard drives.
