Miami student studies abroad
Miami University students spent the summer 2016 semester studying abroad. Local students included Sarah Childs of Twinsburg, who studied in the Czech Republic. With 49 percent of Miami undergraduate students studying abroad for credit by the time they graduate, Miami is ranked first among public doctoral institutions nationwide for students studying abroad. In addition to Miami's Luxembourg campus, Miami students can study abroad in more than 90 locations around the world. Miami offers more than 350 co-sponsored study abroad programs that permit scholarship transfer.
Heidelberg announces fall dean's list
More than 350 Heidelberg University students who have excelled in the classroom have been named to the fall semester dean's list, according to Provost Dr. Beth Schwartz. Twinsburg students included Eric Murdock, a sophomore majoring in business administration; and Myron Prewitt, a sophomore majoring in accounting.
