Why don't my Hydrangeas bloom? Should I cut back my hydrangeas in the fall? When do I fertilize spring, summer or fall?

A program answering these questions and many more will take place July 13 at 6:30 p.m. at the Christ the King Lutheran Church, 10285 Ravenna Road.

A Hydrangea Power Point will cover the many facets, joys and problems encountered with hydrangeas. Further, it will outline the multitude of hydrangea hybrids that are currently available and the unique cultural requirements and difficulties ever present in Ohio's Zone 5. Additional information about pruning and plant selection will be included. The goal of this presentation is to enhance and promote spectacular bloom and healthy hydrangea plants. Hydrangea primers and handouts will be available to members of the audience.

The speaker is Casey Judd a Geauga County Master Gardner since 2005. Judd has tended her own gardens since 1956.
