Power out, Ravenna Road closed following single-car accident

Twinsburg — According to FirstEnergy, more than 1,800 customers remain without power this evening after a car crashed into a utility pole on Ravenna Road this afternoon.

Twinsburg Police responded to the one-car accident on Ravenna Road around 3 p.m. According to police, the car swerved off the road and struck the pole, causing power outages in the area.

Police have closed Ravenna Road between East Idlewood Drive and Presidential Parkway. Drivers are asked to use an alternative route.

Also, Chamberlain Middle School, Dodge Intermediate and Twinsburg High School all canceled activities this evening.
