Three arrested, charged with felony theft following vehicle break-ins

Twinsburg -- Three men have been arrested and charged with felony theft after residents of the Highlands subdivision off of Liberty Road reported a series of vehicle break-ins Dec. 7.

According to Twinsburg police, a dozen different unlocked cars parked in driveways had cell phones, a laptop computer, sunglasses and at least $20 cash taken from inside them. Total value of the burglaries was estimated at more than $1,000.

The three men, Joshua Elliot, 21, of Warrensville Heights; Jeremiah Elliot, 20, of Shaker Heights; and Jordan Houston, 19, of Richmond Heights; were found hiding in a car nearby, in possession of several of the items matching descriptions of the stolen goods.

All three men were charged with felony theft and receiving stolen property and arraigned at the Twinsburg jail Dec 7.

The men have not yet entered a plea. A pre-trial has been scheduled for Joshua Elliot at Stow Municipal Court for Dec. 13. Jeremiah Elliot and Houston have preliminary hearings set for Dec. 13 at Stow Municipal Court.
