The Twinsburg Rotary Club recently hosted its annual Breakfast with Santa event at Brewster's Cafe, 2681 Creekside Drive. Eager children, joined by beaming relatives, partook of the bountiful breakfast and festive activities. St. Nick navigated among the participants, with elf helpers, spreading holiday cheer and sharing good tidings with young and old alike. Christmas lists were delivered as children sat down with Santa. Songs were sung inspired by the holiday spirit. Photos were snapped capturing the enthusiasm and energy of the celebratory season. And enthralled little faces lit up.
Local youth volunteers were omnipresent as food servers and Santa helpers, including Kourtney Paul, Kalyn Osborne, Natalie Tarchick, Colleen Clunn, Caroline Tom, Marisu DiPenti, Neha Sharma, Nicole Scaffide, Jake Krieger, Jared Midlik, Anthony Paul, and Kyle Rosselot.
December is Rotary Family Month, with particular focus on child and maternal health.
Breakfast with Santa serves as one of the ways local Rotarians commit to family, bringing together parents, grandparents, and children in a joyous holiday tradition. All proceeds from this fund-raiser support Rotary Club service activities, including scholarships awarded to Twinsburg High School students.
Club members represent a cross-section of business men and women who volunteer for worthy literacy and humanitarian projects.
