Summit County Sheriff Drew Alexander has issued a snow emergency for Summit County, according to a Dec. 26 news release issued shortly before noon.
Roadways are hazardous with blowing and drifting snow, the release states. Only those who feel it is necessary to drive should be out on the roadways.
