Lisa Zeno Carano has stepped down from her clerk of courts post with the Stow Municipal Court to take a position with another Summit County court.

Her new post is court administrator with the Summit County Court of Common Pleas Probate Division, working under Judge Elinore Marsh Stormer.

Her resignation from the municipal court was effective Dec. 31, 2012. Her six-year term would have expired Dec. 31, 2015.

Zeno Carano did not immediately return a call for comment Jan. 7.

"Lisa was great to work with . . . she really made a lot of changes that saved money [at the court]," said Stow Mayor Sara Drew.
