The Twinsburg High School Orchestra performed Dec. 17 at the high school, and the R.B. Chamberlin Middle and Dodge Intermediate school orchestras conducted their holiday concerts Dec. 18 -- also at the Twinsburg High School auditorium.
The night began Dec. 18 with Dodge Intermediate School's fourth, fifth and sixth-grade orchestras. The audience heard traditional tunes from "Jingle Bells" and "We Wish You a Merry Christmas" to wonderful folk music -- including "Dreidel" and "Good King Wenceslas."
The children showed how hard they have been working in music class.
Following the Dodge orchestra, the R. B. Chamberlin seventh and eighth-grade orchestras performed classics like "'Twas The Night Before Christmas" and "Feliz Navidad."
The concerts marked a wonderful way to continue the holiday season and celebrate the beginning of the winter break.
The concert was conducted by Damon Conn, director, and Thomas Resnick, assistant director.
