Twinsburg -- Police were called to Wilcox Primary March 12 to escort an instructional assistant from the property.

The assistant was asked to leave the building and refused, prompting officers to respond and escort her from the premises, police officials say. No further information has been released by the Twinsburg Police Department at this time.

Superintendent Kathryn Powers alerted Wilcox parents to the incident with a phone message, assuring them that the incident did not affect students and that the children are safe and undisturbed.
