Drunk driving: A 63-year-old Hudson man was charged Sept. 12 with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Police stopped the man driving in the 9300 block of Ravenna Road after a complaint of an intoxicated man driving away from a local business. A breathalizer test registered .24 percent blood-alcohol content -- three times the legal limit.


Arrested on warrant: A 46-year-old Strauss Lane man was arrested Sept. 12 on a warrant for a probation violation. Police discovered the warrant from the Summit County Sheriff after treating the man's friend for a suspected drug overdose in the man's home.

Suspended license, warrant: A 32-year-old Solon woman was charged Sept. 8 with driving with a suspended license. During a traffic stop on Interstate 480 at 2 a.m. for failing to dim her headlights, police discovered the woman was wanted in Oakwood for driving without a license. She was turned over to a Cuyahoga County sheriff's deputy.


Purse taken: A 33-year-old Cleveland woman reported Sept. 14 someone took her purse from her car. She said she had more than $300 cash in the purse. While taking the report, police discovered the woman was wanted in Solon for failing to appear in court. She was arrested and taken to the Solon Jail.

Debit card: A 65-year-old Olmsted Falls man reported Sept. 13 he left his debit card in an ATM on East Aurora Road and another customer took it. The card was used at several local and surrounding businesses.

Somebody's celebrating something: Two bottles of champagne, valued at a total of $355, were taken from Heinen's on Darrow Road Sept. 13.



On the list: A 32-year-old Akron man was charged Sept. 11 with criminal trespassing. He is accused of being at a Ray Court address after being told by police to stay away.


Identity: A 65-year-old Old Mill Road man reported Aug. 27 he was informed by an identity theft security organization that someone unsuccessfully attempted to open a credit account in his name.


Robbery: A 63-year-old Georgia man was arrested on a warrant for robbery from Warrensville Heights Aug. 25. During a traffic stop for failing to drive within his lane on Interstate 480, police discovered the warrant. The man was turned over to Warrensville Heights.

Felonious assault: A 29-year-old Cleveland man was arrested Aug. 29 on a warrant for felonious assault from Indiana. The warrant was found after police stopped the man at a Ray Court apartment building and checked his identification.
