Twinsburg -- Police are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a Panera Bread employee at gunpoint Oct. 3, as well as two other men who were seen with the suspect before the robbery that reportedly netted about $3,500.

Twinsburg Assistant Police Chief Bob Gonsiewski said the employee described seeing three African-American men standing together outside the back door of Panera, 8928 Darrow Road, while she was disposing of garbage just before 9:30 p.m.

One of the men, about 5-feet, 8-inches tall, thin and wearing tan khaki pants and a tri-colored blue, gray and black hoodie with something covering his face, approached the employee, brandished a gun and forced her back inside the store, Gonsiewski said.

Once in the office, the suspect ordered the employee to open the safe then fled on foot with about $3,500, Gonsiewski said.

There were other employees in the store, he said. No one was injured.
