Youth Services: Rogue One release party

This Rogue One: A Star Wars Story release party Dec. 16 from 7 to 10 p.m. is a celebration of all things Star Wars. Play games, make crafts, watchThe Force Awakens, participate in a costume and trivia contest and win tickets to the new movie. This is for Star Wars fans of all ages.

Have a BLAST! with babysitter training

Take the BLAST! Babysitter Training class at the library Dec. 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Designed for youth ages 12 to 16 years, the BLAST! program prepares them to interview for a babysitting job; select safe and suitable games and activities; prevent accidents; and begin babysitting safely and competently. Cost is $50 payable by cash or check at the beginning of class. Call 330-425-4268 ext. 3 for more information.

Make holiday birdseed ornaments Dec. 19 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Parents with children ages 2 to 5 years will work together to make holiday birdseed ornaments to take home.

Take five for tech

The library will offer "Five Minute Tech Clinics" Dec. 14 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. and Dec. 15 from 2 to 3 p.m. For questions about how to use a computer, the Internet or shopping online, drop in for this informal session and get answers. If the instructors don't know the answer, they will try to find it. Note that instructors will not diagnose or resolve personal computer or software bugs/issues.

Get some musical inspiration

Get some musical inspiration with the Curtis Taylor Duo, Dec. 20 from 7 to 7:45 p.m. Taylor is a Grammy Award-winning jazz trumpeter originally from Bedford. He will perform a set with Akron's Theron Brown on Piano.

On display ...

The art gallery and large display cases are featuring photography and poetry by David Painter. The small display cases have costume exhibits from the Twinsburg Community Theatre's upcoming The Little Mermaid in January 2017.
