REMINDERVILLE -- The village is accepting letters of interest to fill an open seat on Reminderville Village Council.
The opening is from the resignation of Mario Molina, who has taken the position of director of operations in the village.
The term of the appointment lasts until Dec. 31, 2019, and is subject to re-election.
Qualifications, as stated in the Reminderville Charter Section 4.04, include the following: "Each council person shall have been a resident and qualified elector for at least one full year prior to the date of election or appointment and shall continue to be a resident of the Municipality throughout their term of office. A council person shall hold no other elective public office or be employed by or hold any other office in this Municipality."
