TWINSBURG -- The Taste of Twinsburg 2017 is seeking sponsorships, or organizers say it is endanger of being cancelled in its fourth year.
The popular event is tentatively set for June 17 from 2 to 8 p.m. and has featured the culinary best of Twinsburg on Twinsburg Township Square.
"The "Taste of Twinsburg" is a community event for restaurants, businesses and the people of Twinsburg, Twinsburg Township and Reminderville," said organizer Adam Hoon. "We're celebrating all of the top notch food and services our area has to offer."
Last year, thousands turned out as a dozen local restaurants turned Church Street into Restaurant Row. The food festival showcases local eateries, while other businesses line Twinsburg Township Square's shaded paths with their kiosks and booths.
Bands perform on the stage at Township Square throughout the afternoon, and a VIP tent offers a more personal touch and catered menus.
Proceeds from the event often go toward local charities, such as last year's Paws on Hunger through the Emergency Assistance Center of Northfield and Our Community Hunger Center in Twinsburg.
