LOCAL ATHLETES KICKSTART THEIR SUMMERS WITH SOCCER CAMPS
Soccer legend Otto Orf and his staff, including former professional players, are accepting athletes ages 4 through 18 for unique training in Americas number-one youth sport. Director Otto Orf, champion goalkeeper of the Cleveland Crunch and Force, leads a team with decades of professional soccer experience, including former teammates and College and High-School standouts. Twenty-one communities in Northeast Ohio will play host to the summer soccer camps, with both full and half-day options for boys and girls. Openings are limited for the various programs, with the Starters and Field Player training available for younger children, and the Goalkeeper, Advanced, and High-School sessions available to players through age 18. Every participant will advance their soccer ability and build the skills needed to perform at a higher level. Participants will develop teambuilding skills in games, practice drills, and fun activities. Sponsors including the Cleveland MetroParks Zoo, LaserQuest, The Cleveland Childrens Museum, and the National Inventors Hall of Fame will provide free child admission passes. Coupons from Pizza Hut, Panera Bread, and other sponsors will also be given. Athletes are encouraged to register promptly, as space will be limited to 100 campers per site.
