Singles Fellowship Dinner offered

"TrueLife Singles" invites all singles, ages 35 and older, to a Fellowship Dinner at Parkside Church Nov. 2 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30). The guest speaker is the Rev. Jon Platek.

The cost is $10 per person for the catered dinner. Contact John Sederwall at 330-376-1688 or sederwall@aol.com by Oct. 28 to reserve a place. Pay at the door.

Single Moms
care group meets

Single Moms is a weekly care group for single mothers of any age or circumstance.

They meet on Thursdays through Nov. 15 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Parkside Church in Room 224.

Materials and childcare are provided. Single Moms extends a network of friendship and gives practical assistance to women who face the challenge of raising children by themselves. For more information, call Jacque Platek at 440-543-1212.

Church Women United will mark Community Day Nov. 2

Church Women United of the Tallmadge, Stow, Munroe Falls and Cuyahoga Falls area invite community members to join them in celebrating World Community Day "2007" on Nov. 2 at 9:30 a.m. at the Stow Community United Church, 1567 Pilgrim Drive, Stow.

The theme this year is "Embracing Justice Under God's Tent."

Refreshments will be served prior to a program presented by members of the group.

book sale

Bailey Road Christian Church, 3200 W. Bailey Road, Cuyahoga Falls, announces the following programs and services:

A public book and audio-visual sale will take place on Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. This event is a fundraiser for the church's building fund.

The church is building an addition that will provide a new fellowship hall and kitchen.
