Bob and Michele McFarland of Twinsburg announce the engagement of their son, Brian McFarland, to Aimee Sorenson, daughter of Earl and Susan Sorenson of New Brighton, Minn. McFarland is a graduate of R.B. Chamberlin High School and The Ohio State University and currently is completing his master's degree at Stetson University. He is a development manager for Walt Disney Imagineering in Orlando, Fla. Sorenson is a graduate of Florida Southern College and is a dolphin trainer at Discovery Cove in Orlando. The couple plans to marry in 2008 in Orlando.
