Kol Chadash and Signature
of Solon join together

Congregation Kol Chadash of Solon will host an annual second night of Passover Seder at Signature of Solon located at 39000 Signature Drive in Solon on April 20 at 6 p.m.

Signature of Solon has offered a traditional Passover meal in the past, but without the Seder service, while Congregation Kol Chadash has provided an interactive Seder service under the direction of Estelle Gottman-Mills, rabbi of the congregation. This year the two have joined together to provide a gourmet Passover meal including wine and Passover desserts prepared by Signature's chef Wilfrido Marin, as well as a service complete with the traditional Passover songs and prayers. In addition, plague bags and treats will be provided for the children.

The Seder is open to the community. The cost is $36 for adults and children older than 12 years, $15 for children 5 to 12 years, and no charge for children under 5 years.

Reservations are necessary. Call Jacquelyn Frederick at 440-248-5979 for information or to register.

Parenting Bible study
is April 6 at Our Redeemer

There are many of questions parents ask about raising children. Many so-called experts have answered these difficult questions incorrectly.

Skip the "flavor of the month" expertise and learn what the Bible has to say about raising children, and some of the tried and true methods that have worked well throughout history.

Pastor Matthew Garred leads this exploration of parental wisdom on April 6 in the library at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Solon at 9:15 a.m.

All parents are welcome and encouraged to attend. For more information, contact the church at 440-248-4066.

Study 'Book Of Colossians' this month

Every Sunday in April Pastor Powell Woods will lead a study of St. Paul's letter to the Colossians. The city of Colossae in Asia Minor (modern day Turkey) had a culture which was remarkably similar to today's. Class will be every Sunday from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. in the fellowship hall of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Solon.

All are welcome. For directions call the church at 440-248-4066.
