This year's Coffee For A Cause will be April 18 from 6:45 to 9:30 p.m. at the Twinsburg Public Library. Twinsburg teens will perform poetry, drama, music and comedy. Funds raised by students will benefit Aluminum Cans for Burned Children. Join for this Twinsburg tradition and purchase coffee, frappucinos and baked goods in support of this great cause. Couples therapy comes to library

The library will host relationship expert Kathy Dawson on May 7 at 7 p.m. Dawson will address the different strategies needed by new couples, new marrieds, and new parents to keep their relationships vibrant and alive. Dawson is a leading relationship coach in Northeast Ohio and the author of "Diagnosis: Married and Cleveland Couples." She appears frequently on local radio and television, including weekly appearances on Fox WJW-8 and Q104.1. Marriage and Money: Setting up finances

Christy Corrice, a financial representative, will present a financial program for couples on May 19 at 7 p.m. They will learn to work as partners to create a budget and a long-term financial plan. When people can't come to the library

The library will come to people when they can't come to the library due to illness, disability or caregiver responsibilities. Homebound persons in the Twinsburg School District may apply for delivery of library materials. This includes those who need temporary service while recovering from surgery. Any item that may be checked out of the library is available for home delivery under this program, including large print books, audiobooks and DVDs. Homebound persons may select their own items by phone or on the Internet, or a librarian will choose for them. There are no overdue fines, but replacement fees for damaged or lost items do apply. May computer classes offered in the library's Mouse Pad include:

* Introduction to Windows XP -- May 1 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: None;

* Introduction to the Internet -- May 20 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: Windows class or basic Windows knowledge;

* Advanced Internet -- May 13 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: Internet Class, or basic Internet knowledge;

* Internet Safety -- May 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: Internet Class, or basic Internet knowledge;

* Introduction to Word 2003 -- May 8 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: Intro to Windows, or basic Windows knowledge;

* Intermediate Word 2003 -- May 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. Prerequisite: Word class or basic Word knowledge;

* Introduction to Excel 2003 -- May 19 from 6 to 8 p.m. Prerequisite: Word Class, or basic Word knowledge;

* Intermediate Excel 2003 -- May 22 from 6 to 8 p.m. Prerequisite: Excel Class or basic Excel knowledge;

Just for Teens: LAN gaming party reset

* Anime Club -- The Anime Club meets Thursdays from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and will be watching the "Tokko" series in the upcoming meetings;

* Chick Flicks -- This Friday from 2:30 to 5 p.m. the Chick Flick will be the movie "Le Divorce." Next week will be "In Her Shoes," and on May 2 the group will screen "Rumor Has It;"

* The LAN Party has been rescheduled -- The next party will be April 26 from 7 to 10 p.m. Computers will be networked to play multi-player games. Tacos and refreshments will be served. To register, call 330-425-4268 ext. 6;

* Meet Sonny Strait: Anime voice actor -- Meet Sonny Strait on May 9 from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Don't miss this chance to meet a world famous Anime industry insider. Autograph session included. Call 330-425-4268 ext. 6 to register; and

* Guitar Hero Tournament -- Play some rock ax on May 23 from 7 to 10 p.m. Ages 13 through 17 are welcome. Show off those thrashin' guitar moves at this competition sponsored by GameStop of Macedonia. Guitars will be provided, or people can bring their own. Bring $3.

Kids Korner
offers tea party

"A tea party for my doll, my mommy and me" will be May 17 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Bring a favorite doll and join the library staff for a spring tea party, for children ages 6 and older. Registration begins April 28. Call Children's Place at 330-425-4268 ext. 3 for information.

Mocha Moms host health fair

Mocha Moms Inc. of the Cleveland Southeast Suburban chapter will host a Health Fair on May 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Twinsburg Public Library. The topic will be the "Rise of Child Obesity." Guest speaker is Dr. Rita Beckford, and there will be some free health screenings available. Several hospitals will be represented, including Summa Health, Akron Children's Hospital and Buckeye Community Health.
