Letter: Protect integrity of city zoning code

I am writing on open letter to members of Twinsburg City Council about a recent decision made by the Board of Zoning Appeals to ignore the law director's opinion, which stated that the BZA did not have jurisdiction to rule on the request, and allow a zoning variance for a drive-thru for an ice cream parlor on Ravenna Road. I believe this violates the zoning code. Council should overturn the decision and protect the integrity of the zoning code.

As a citizen of Twinsburg, it is my duty to express my opinion to the officials we elected to represent us. It is their duty to uphold the laws of the city and the oath of office that they took. I appreciate their consideration and thank them, in advance, for their anticipated cooperation.
