Twinsburg's Wellness Committee invites students from all city schools, school staff and families of students to take part in a 2-mile Run and Fun Walk on May 16 at 5 p.m.
The event marks a good way to get some exercise and socialize with Twinsburg residents in a fun and informal setting. A trophy will be awarded to the Twinsburg school with the highest percentage of staff, students and parents participating.
The cost is $5 per person and includes water, fruit and low-fat cookies. Anyone who pre-registers before May 8 also will get a free T-shirt. The race and walk will begin at the Twinsburg Fitness Center and will finish on the track behind R.B. Chamberlin Middle School. Check in will begin at 3:30 p.m. on May 16 at the fitness center.
