Active in Twinsburg Garden Club
Lois (Humpal) Gandee, 86, of Twinsburg, died April 26, 2008, at Kensington Care Center in Aurora. Mrs. Gandee was a member of the Twinsburg Garden Club and active at the Twinsburg Senior Center. She worked for Northfield Floral Shop and the Blooming Place in Twinsburg.
Mrs. Gandee was preceded in death by her husband Charles; son James Gandee; mother George Eleanor (nee Chaloupka) Humpal; and brother Richard Humpal.
She is survived by daughter Georgann (Dale) Mirgliotta of Twinsburg; grandchildren Philip, Marci and Nick; great-grandson Anthony; and brother Donald Humpal.
Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 99 W. Aurora Road in Northfield, where the family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. May 2. Funeral services will be at Johnson-Romito at 10 a.m. on May 3. Pastor Calvin Brown will officiate. Interment will be at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg.
