Velia Olympia Russo Austin, 92, of Twinsburg, died April 25, 2008, at South Pointe Hospital. Mrs. Austin was born March 29, 1916, in Clarksburg, W.Va.
She worked as a receptionist. She was preceded in death by husbands Louis Russo and Clarence Austin, parents Enrico and Rose Baccarini and sister Ernestine Maurice (Jacque). She is survived by children Loretta Erhman (John) and Anita Demetriades (Pan); sister Adele Calderone (Nick); nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Services were April 28 at St. Barnabas Catholic Church in Northfield Center. Burial was at All Saint's Cemetery. Services were conducted by Ferfolia Funeral Home in Sagamore Hills.
