Akron has camps
The University of Akron will have the following summer football camps on the campus:
June 22: Senior Camp 1, $30 preregistered
July 20: Senior Camp 2, $30 preregistered
July 24: Team Passing Camp 1, $175 per team; and Big Man Camp 1, $20 preregistered
July 25: Team Passing Camp 2, $175 per team; and Big Man Camp 2, $20 preregistered
July 26: Team Passing Camp 3, $175 per team; and Big Man Camp 3, $20 preregistered
July 27: Senior Camp 3, $30 preregistered
Soccer scheduled
Former professional soccer player Otto Orf and his staff, which includes former professional players, are accepting athletes, age 4 through 18, to participate in a summer camp at Liberty Park July 14-18. For more information, visit the Web site at www.HandsOnSoccer.com.
Hoops offered
Applications are being taken for the Ten Star All Star Summer Basketball Camp.
