Florence (McCorkle) Burgess, 79, of Oakwood Village and formerly of Twinsburg, died April 11, 2009, at her daughter's home in Oakwood Village.
She was the daughter of the late Byron McCorkle and Barbara (Noll) McCorkle. She was preceded in death by husband J. Lee Burgess; brothers Richard and Charles; and sister Louise McCorkle. She is survived by children Raymond (Syndi) Jones, Rose (Ken) Liptay, Daniel (Jessie) Burgess, Donna (Greg) Miller and Ronald (Marie) Burgess; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home at 9819 Darrow Road, where the family received friends April 14. Funeral services were scheduled for April 15. Entombment was scheduled to be at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Kirtland Restoration Church, 9320 Chillicothe Road in Kirtland.
