Norbertine (Norb) Mary Costa, 87, of Twinsburg, died June 4, 2009, at Jennings Hall. Mrs. Costa was born Aug. 22, 1921, in Avoca, Minn., and received a degree in nursing. She worked as a registered nurse for Suburban Hospital and served in the U.S. Army.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George M.; and parents James and Mary Crowley.
She is survived by her children Carol Ann Ponikvar (William), George Jr. (Mary Ann), and Gregory (Joanne); siblings Clem Crowley, the late Virginia Sabinske, James Crowley, Rose Paal and Marge Tentinger; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was a loving aunt and friend to many.
Services were at St. Pius X Catholic Church June 8 and burial took place at All Saints Cemetery. Funeral services were conducted by Ferfolia Funeral Home of Sagamore Hills.
