Local business receives ODOT certification Twinsburg business Kero International Inc. has been awarded the Ohio Department of Transportation's Disadvantaged Business Enterprise certification. The goal of the DBE certification ensures that firms owned and controlled by minorities, women and other socially and economically disadvantaged persons have the opportunity to grow and become self-sufficient to create a level playing field on which they can compete fairly for contracts and subcontracts in the transportation industry. "The attainment of ODOT's DBE certification is another strategic step that provides growth in the public sector, whose potential compares favorably to our private sector growth," said Keith A. Harris, president and CEO of Kero International. Kero International provides engineered solutions for obsolete and discontinued parts, as well as harsh environment parts. Services also include parts management and facility asset recovery programs. Comments
