Gertrude A. (Taddie) Powers, 89, of Streetsboro, died Dec. 3, 2009, at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna. She was the wife of the late Richard D. Powers; mother of the late Donald J. Powers (Linda); daughter of the late Henry Taddie and Pauline (Thiel) Taddie; sister of the late Eleanor Engel, Leonard, John and Henry Taddie, and Margaret Hufgard; she is survived by her sons Richard G. (Carol) Powers, Robert (Michelle) Powers of Mantua and Edward W. (Janet) Powers; 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and sister Florence Pottinger. Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home, 9819 Darrow Road, Twinsburg, where family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 8. Funeral services were at Johnson-Romito Dec. 9. Interment was at All Saints Cemetery in Northfield.
