Robert J. Landis, 90, of Twinsburg, died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010, at UH Bedford Medical Center in Bedford. Mr. Landis was employed by Ford Motor Co., where he worked as an electrician for 54 years. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II.
Mr. Landis was the husband of the late Donna Jean Palmer Landis; father of the late Sharon Landis; son of the late Alserd Landis and Bessie (Willis) Landis; and brother of the late Nellie, Burke, Dean, Rinas and Dale. He is survived by his daughter Karen Landis of Twinsburg; sons James (Patricia) Landis of Parma, Jeffrey (Lisa) Landis of Cassville, Mo., and Mark Landis of Stow; grandchildren Melody, Heather, April, Angela, Donna, Evelyn, Therese and Nick; and many great grandchildren. Arrangements were handled by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home of Twinsburg, where the family received friends Jan. 19, 2010. Funeral services were at the funeral home Jan. 20, 2010, Mr. Burrell Garren officiating. Interment was at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg.
