As a teacher in this district for six years I continue to be pleased with the Closing the Gap Committee at Dodge School. Many of the CTG activities happen at the Salvation Army, formerly the Western Reserve Outreach Center. As the population of children in this area are underserved, the staff and PTP of Dodge have supported through time and money: "Boy Time, "Girl Time" , STEP Team, "Breakthrough" , book club etc. This includes crafts, dance, nature walks, and snacks for the last five years. The SA has improved the atmosphere at the "Center". More parents are willing to allow their kids to attend programs because there are standards from a larger organizaton. Children no longer run around, grab food and other donations. It is a place where volunteers are willing to come and share their time as the kids are having fun, learning and respectful. Unfortunately, it is still underfunded. The teachers and administrators who volunteer with me wish that our students could have greater services, especially over the summer. Please serve ALL of our children!

Twinsburg Post Office

As a resident of Twinsburg for over a year I have been very pleased with the choice to move to this excellent community. I do however have one recurring problem - the Twinsburg Post Office cannot seem to fix the stamp machine located in the lobby! Every time I have needed a stamp at a time the Post Office was not open I have been out of luck. The stamp machine has been out of order since I moved here nearly 15 months ago.

Twinsburg Postal Service - please maintain your equipment so I can get a stamp after hours.
