Twinsburg -- Twinsburg Home Days brought in all the expected excitement and more last weekend with tasty food, entertaining music, beautiful weather and of course, a great turnout.
"I will tell you without a doubt, this was our most successful Home Days," said Tamra Prochaska, event chair of Twinsburg Home Days.
The event, which took place July 13 through 15, brought in between 8,000 and 10,000 people, according to Prochaska. She said 5,000 people showed up on Friday night alone.
"It really was an incredible sight," she said. "We were ecstatic with the outcome."
The big hits of the weekend were the Cleveland band TWIST!, who performed Friday night, the Taste of Twinsburg, the pancake breakfast and the Pulse teen dance event, she said.
Organizers were expecting around 50 teens to show up to the dance event. Both Prochaska and Rock the House Entertainment, who ran the event, were pleasantly surprised when 300 to 400 teens showed up.
Prochaska said vendors who participated this year are already asking to book tents for next year's Home Days.
