Life Church offers sermon on 'consequences of sin'

The Rev. Paul Waickman will continue his series, "When a Christian Sins," Oct. 28 with a message explaining the consequences of sin. Adult Sunday school, which starts at 9:30 am, is in an in-depth survey of the New Testament.

Worship Service and the Rev. Waickman's message begin at 10:45 a.m. in the lower level of the Nye Financial Group building, 7941 Ravenna Road, Hudson. Children's classes and nursery care are available.

Christian artist to perform Oct. 27

Contemporary Christian singer and songwriter Bill Stewart will be the guest musician during the regular Saturday night service Oct. 27 at Christ the King Evangelical Lutheran Church in Twinsburg. The service begins at 5:30 p.m., with nursery care provided.

Stewart has produced two music CDs and has performed on radio and television.

A resident of Canton, Stewart also has performed with various Christian artists, including Steve Green and Michael W. Smith. He has performed with Joel Osteen at Quicken Loans Arena and sang at the Convention Center in Orlando, Fla.

Hope Community plans 'Judgement House'

Hope Community Church will host its annual presentation of Judgement House, a live walk-through drama experience. This year's drama, "Revenge," tells the story of a high school student who lets rage take control of his life and the ensuing tragedy that results from his act of revenge. Remaining dates and times are Oct. 26 from 7 to 10:30 p.m., Oct. 27 from 5:30 to 10 p.m. and Oct. 28 from 4:30 to 8 p.m.

There is no charge for this event, which is recommended for children ages 10 and older.

'Holy Fingers'
plan craft fair

The Holy Fingers Stitchers will sponsor a holiday craft fair at Solon United Methodist Church, 5540 SOM Center Road in Solon, on Oct. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Handcrafted items ranging from home decorations to seasonal gifts will be available for purchase, and food concessions will be available.

A queen-sized bed quilt, throw and lap quilt will be raffled off. Admission fee is $1 and parking is free.
