While driving on Ravenna Road March 10, an officer passed a 38-year-old Ridgewood Court man walking in the street near the Twinsburg Government Center. The officer, who recognized the man due to his past history with the Twinsburg police department, had asked the police dispatcher to check the man's record through a police database for active warrants.
The dispatcher found two: One with Portage County for failure to appear on a traffic charge and one with Carroll County for contempt of court for failure to pay a traffic charge.
The man paid a $155 bond on the Carroll warrant and was released to a local motel where he was staying for the evening.
Theft
March 11: Vehicle theft attempt -- A local business on Edison Boulevard reported someone attempted to steal a car that was parked beside the business. The steering column was damaged, but no items were stolen. The damage was unknown.
March 5: Car stereo theft -- Officer responded to the parking lot of a Ravenna Road business after an employee reported someone entered his unlocked vehicle between 2 p.m. and 5:10 p.m. and stole his car stereo, valued at $50.
Dog at large
March 7: Dog allegedly attacks another -- Twinsburg police received a call from a Glenwood Drive man reporting a neighbor's dog had allegedly attacked his dog while he was walking him in the neighborhood. The neighbor was charged with dog at large, given a court date of March 14 and ordered to take the dog to the veterinarian for a checkup. Police ordered the owner to keep the dog locked up for 10 days.

Driving under suspension
March 14: Warrant discovered -- While on patrol, a deputy observed two people in a vehicle parked in a Ray Court lot. After the officer questioned the two people he learned that one, a 32-year-old Cleveland man, had a warrant for driving under suspension through the sheriff's office, arrested him and took him to Summit County Jail.
March 11: Suspect turned over to Aurora -- A deputy stopped a 39-year-old Aurora Road man on Darrow Road for a traffic offense. It was discovered he had an active warrant for driving under suspension from Aurora police. He was arrested and turned over to the APD.
Property damage
March 7: Semi-truck causes damage -- A Highland Road business owner stated a semi-truck damaged a section of his business's asphalt driveway when the semi-truck used it to turn around. The value of the damage is unknown.
The owner gave deputies the truck's identification. No one was apprehended at the time of the report.
