Silent Mind offers free
breathing, relaxation seminars
A free "Buteyko" breathing seminar will be March 26 from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. "Buteyko" is a breathing technique that is primarily used for the treatment of asthma. People also will learn some exercises that focus on nasal-breathing, breath-holding and relaxation. To go along with the "Buteyko" seminar, there will be classes every Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. from April 9 through May 7. These classes will address the exercises used to help improve breathing and relaxation. The Silent Mind is located on Church Street near Twinsburg Township Square.
Solon polymer company names new vice president
Excel Polymers LLC announces that Len McClearn has accepted the position of vice president of sourcing. Based in Solon, McLearn will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and developing suppliers, as well as providing direction and leadership to the company's sourcing team.
McClearn's background includes executive positions with the Southern Rubber Group, the Plumley Companies (Dana Corp.), Associated Rubber and Burton Rubber. In addition, McClearn is a past chairperson of the Southern Rubber Group.
