Marketing firm's creative
director honored
Felber & Felber Marketing Creative Director Bruce J. Felber has been inducted into the 600-member Ohio Promotional Professionals Association's Hall of Fame.
This honor comes after 22 years of involvement in the industry and the association's local chapter.
Felber is a long-time Streetsboro community advocate and resident, spending his free time with his family and giving back to his community. Felber also is serving the Streetsboro Area Chamber of Commerce as the president of its board of directors.
Felber served as the president of OPPA in 1994 and 2001 and was instrumental in creating trade show and educational venues that are still in use today.
"Bruce has a real heart for the industry," said LaDonna Belcher, executive director of OPPA. "He truly is committed and very deserving of this honor."
OPPA, a large regional promotional product association, is affiliated with the Promotional Products Association International (PPAI) based in Irving, Texas.
OPPA has been serving Ohio for more than 40 years, providing industry education and supplier trade shows for its members.
Felber is a member of the PPAI's events committee and is past chairman of the international association's public relations committee. He also has been named a Master Advertising Specialist, the highest professional designation available from PPAI.
He is a member of the American Advertising Federation-Cleveland and a founding member Northeast Ohio Communicators Affiliates.
Home health care business
brings home seventh award
Cambridge Home Health Care, with an office in Twinsburg, has received the 2008 NEO Success Award, presented by Inside Business magazine. The award recognizes companies in Northeast Ohio because they create growth and jobs in the area.
This is the seventh-consecutive year for Cambridge to receive the award, according to Cambridge officials.
The award ceremony was conducted March 11 at Executive Caterers at Landerhaven with the keynote speaker Bob Shearer of Shearer's Foods Inc.
