Starbucks provides coffee for veterans
The Starbucks coffee shop in Twinsburg recently began helping out a veterans group.
According to Joe Jasany, Twinsburg police officer and commander of Twinsburg VFW 4929, about 50 members of the VFW take part in a monthly bingo night with other veterans at the Brecksville VA hospital.
The VFW approached Starbucks with the request to provide coffee for the event each month, and the coffee shop, which is located next to Twinsburg Township Square, agreed.
Jasany said Twinsburg VFW 4929 is going to present Starbucks with a plaque.
