Wallet lost weight at fitness center

Twinsburg -- An officer met a Macedonia man in the Twinsburg police department lobby for a report of a theft March 25.

The man said he was playing a game of volleyball March 22 between 5 and 7 p.m. at the Twinsburg Fitness Center, and when he returned to the bench near the basketball court where he had placed his wallet, he discovered $250 was missing from it.

There are no suspects.

Theft

March 24: Stolen jacket -- An officer responded to a Darrow Road business for a theft report. The store owner reported that his $300 leather jacket, which he had left on a back barstool, had been stolen. The owner said the store was so busy, he could not name any suspects.

March 25: Copper theft -- An officer responded to a Forest Lake Drive house for a theft/burglary report. The victim reported someone had apparently entered his home, which is still under construction, through an open panel on the garage door while he was not there and removed 30 feet of scrap copper coiled pipe valued at $50 dollars. There are no suspects.

Warrant

March 30: Warrants -- A 22-year-old Cleveland man was arrested on Hadden Road for having an obstructing official business warrant and a criminal trespassing warrant, both first-degree misdemeanors. He was transported to Summit County Jail. The police report was unclear on how the man was found.

Domestic violence

March 24: Woman hit in face -- A Ray Court woman reported that her 30-year-old, live-in boyfriend allegedly hit her in the face and dragged her into the bedroom. Police say the man admitted to striking the woman and he was charged with domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor.
