Macedonia Mexican restaurant donates to cancer research
All Relay For Life teams should be aware that for every entrée and drink purchase in the month of April, Qdoba Mexican Grill will donate $2 of the proceeds to the American Cancer Society -- Relay For Life. Qdoba Mexican Grill is located at 8210 Macedonia Commons Boulevard in Macedonia. They can be reached at 330-467-8330. Take 'Footsteps'
toward pasta dinner
The Twinsburg/Macedonia Relay For Life team Footsteps will conduct a pasta dinner on April 26 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of Twinsburg, 9050 Church Street. Adults are $8, children 12 and younger are $4. Children younger than 3 years are free. The event is sponsored by D'Angelo's Ristorante on Darrow Road.
Candy bar update
More than $7,000 has been raised so far through sales of Relay For Life candy bars. This represents more than 14,000 candy bars sold to help beat cancer.
Enjoy a 'Parents Night Out'
in Solon
As a fundraiser to support Relay For Life, the youth of Solon Community Church have designated April 19 as "Parents Night Out." The youth will be at the church (located at 33955 Sherbrook Park Drive, on the corner of SOM Center Road and Sherbrook Park Drive) from 6 to 9:30 p.m. to babysit at a cost of $7 per child. A snack for the children will be provided.
