Joan M. (Wintour) Munn, 88, of Twinsburg, died March 29, 2008, at Walton Manor in Walton Hills. Mrs. Munn was employed by the Twinsburg City School District as a cafeteria manager for 21 years. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Twinsburg, and a past president of its Women's Fellowship.
She was also a member of the Twinsburg VFW Post No. 4929 Ladies Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband George Furka and Ralph Munn; parents Andrew and Charlotte Wintour; brother Robert Wintour; and sister Dorothy Huisman.
She is survived by her grandson John (Carrie) Furka of Stow; great-grandchildren Shannon and Nicholas Furka; daughter-in-law Cindy Furka Rubino of Stow; nephew John (Gerry, deceased) Huisman; and niece Judy (Tony) Cascone.
Arrangements were conducted by Johnson-Romito Funeral Home at 9819 Darrow Road in Twinsburg, where the family received friends on April 2. Funeral services were April 2 at the funeral home, the Rev. Vince Belsito officiating. Interment was at Crown Hill Memorial Park in Twinsburg.
